Brief introduction of human resource
 

EDI persists in strategy of “Talented People Building Strong Enterprise”, taking people training and talent team construction as the priority of enterprise development. It makes efforts to carry out overall human resource development.EDI takes the construction of professional and technical personnel team, technical expert team, project management personnel team, vocational qualification personnel team, enterprise management personnel team, party group personnel team as framework, the market development as guidance, the personnel capacity construction as core, the training of high level and adaptable personnel as key points, making concentrated efforts to realize personnel training objective established in its human resource planning.

The general thinking of personnel training in EDI is implementing responsibility, proposing method, issuing procedure and formulating measures. During the process of medium and long term personnel planning and training, under the principle of Communist Party governing person,EDI has established talent planning and training objective responsibility system, formulating a new talent working pattern of unified leadership by party committee, cooperative management by party and government, HR department being in charge of organization and other relevant departments doing their own tasks in close cooperation.EDI will further improve training mechanism, election mechanism, evaluation mechanism, employment mechanism, assessment mechanism and excitation mechanism etc.

Personnel Training Method

EDI adopts various training methods according to current situation of personnel level. The basic principle is that common staffs are trained in accordance with general training procedure and talented staffs are trained in accordance with specialized measures.

Master and Apprentice System

As EDI’s traditional and fruitful training method, this system is suitable for and conducive to training young staffs who have worked within 5 years aiming at boosting their vocational growing from apprentice to assistant engineer, engineer and even senior engineer.

Tutorial System

Drawing on talent development experience of colleges and universities, EDI adopts tutorial system suitable for middle-level employees who expect themselves to be promoted from engineer to senior engineer and even professor-level senior engineer, or from discipline responsible person to project manager.

Internal Training System
EDI established enterprise management procedures for internal training. It periodically carries out various trainings such as professional knowledge training, project management training and enterprise management knowledge training in fields of theoretical knowledge, engineering cases and management practice. On the one hand,EDI establishes its internal training teacher management rule, clearly defining training qualification acquirement, job training, examination evaluation and bonus. Internal training is very conducive to enlarge employees’ knowledge scope and fasten talent growing. On the other hand,EDI takes fully advantage of social teacher resources. It invites experts and researchers from universities, academic institutes, training organizations and cooperating enterprises to carry out special lectures and courses aiming at broadening people’s mind, absorbing external nutrition and promoting talent growing. Generally internal training is programmed comprehensively by human resource department and implemented step by step by each department

External Training System

According to enterprise’s demand for talented people, EDI selects some young and excellent personnel to take up advanced studies in university or even abroad. During the process of personnel vocational growing,EDI would like to take fully advantage of social resources through cooperating with universities or scientific research institutes to provide employee opportunities to continue study in a variety of mid-career trainings such as short-term special training, continuing education for degree, foreign language training and vocational qualification exam training etc.EDI will undertake all training expenses.

Exam System

EDI encourages its employees to take part in various vocational qualification exams so as to ensure enterprise qualification and employees’ vocational qualification. Human resource department issues exam information in time and help to enter the exam.EDI will undertake all expenses of exams and trainings if employees pass the exam. Moreover,EDI will provide extra awards for those who have obtained vocational qualification certificate urgently needed by EDI.

Recruitment System

EDI would like to recruit excellent and qualified technical personnel from society to supplement talented person’s construction. Meanwhile, it encourages employees to recommend suitable personnel who will be urgently needed. If recommendation succeeds, it will not only award the introducer, but help the recruited members to register their residence.
